| Information | My primary focus is digital photography, I also work with digital paint and various forms of graphic design. In addition to my work in visual arts, I am a working jazz pianist and keyboard player. I have long enjoyed a career as a software designer.
I began working in film photography as a young man in the 1970s and dabbled in that form sporadically over the years. I also worked with pencils, both graphite & colored, and pastels. My transition to digital media began with 3D modeling and rendering, but soon bought a Wacom tablet and moved into digital painting/drawing using Painter and Photoshop. I had long experience with Photoshop through another interest of graphic design (web & print) so the transition to digital painting was fairly natural. In 2005 I began working with DSLRs and have since returned to my first love of photography with renewed dedication.
